Funeral Service for Doris Jean Clark, 71 of Rock Island, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola, Oklahoma with Ronnie Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola, Oklahoma.
She was born on February 11, 1952 in Torrence, CA to Ruby (Cox) Kozderka and Roland Fountain and passed away on January 15, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Benny Clark on September 13, 1969 in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Roland “Johnny” Fountain; mother, Ruby (Cox) Kozderka; brother, Roland Fountain.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Benny Clark; children, Ben Clark and wife Jerri, Monti Owens and husband Jay; grandchildren, Dillon Clark and partner Cheyenne, KayCee Swindle and husband George, Grant Mizell and wife Sydney, Ian Clark and partner Haylee; great grandchildren, Hayley, Journey, KenLee, Emma, and Raelynn; sisters, Mary Smith and husband Jack, Stephanie Prescott and husband Roger; brother, Drew Fountain and wife Rose, and Eddie Kozderka; sisters in love, Sherry Carr and husband Jimmy, Margaret McCollum and husband Cookie, Paula Clark; numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Canada, George Swindle, Thomas Whitecotton, Roger Prescott, Anthony Whitecotton, and Emmet Vancamp.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
