A memorial service for Douglas Lovelace of the Spiro, Oklahoma area will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma.

Douglas Craig Lovelace, Sr. was born on September 11, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas to Booker Albert and Laverne (McKesson) Lovelace passed away on June 18, 2021 in Dallas, Texas.  He was preceded in death his parents, Booker and Laverne Lovelace; paternal grandparents, Alphonso and Hattie Mae (Jones) Lovelace, and his maternal grandparents, Alvin Sr. and Henrietta (Caruthers) McKesson. 

Survivors include his daughter Kennedy Carroll Lovelace: his son, Douglas Craig Lovelace, Jr.; his sisters, Faith Lovelace, Hope Yvonne Eubanks, Grace Lovelace, and April Lovelace-Thomas; his brothers, Anthony McKesson and Aljon Lovelace; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family, and friends. 

Douglas had an extensive education which started as a 1980 of Spiro High School, a graduate of Oklahoma State Tech, he obtained his Bachelors in Finance degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, graduated from the Cox School of Business with a Master’s in Business Administration, and as well as a Masters in Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas at Dallas.  Douglas worked for numerous “Fortune 500” companies including Xerox, IBM, Oracle, and Salesforce.  He was an entrepreneur and enjoyed traveling, fitness, and horticulture.  He was always interested in social equity, education, health, science, and technology and was a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
