A memorial service for Ed Gray, 68, of Spiro, Oklahoma will be 2:00 Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Haven Heights Baptist Church in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Viewing will be 9:00am-7:00pm on Friday with the family visiting with friends from 5:00-7:00pm at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Raymond Ed Gray was born August 2, 1953 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Howard Gray and Sue Steele and passed away on September 26, 2021 in Spiro, Oklahoma. He is preceded death by his parents.
Ed is survived by his wife Maria Gray; two daughters, Randi Wells and husband Scott and Kacee Loaiza; seven sons, Brandon Gray, Jarod Gray, Ramon Valenzuela and wife Brenda, Javier Loaiza, Richard Lyall, Johnathan Lyall, and Christian Lyall and wife Tammy; twenty five grandchildren, Shelbey, Scottlynn, and Nolan Wells, Alana and Manuel Loaiza, Timmy, Brayson, and Soloman Gray, Sidera and Colin Gray, Israel, Raelynn, and Hannah Garibay, Yasmin and Brianna Hernandez, Arihanna Sanchez, Maleena and Kadence Lyall, Jaycee, Jacob, and Katie Lyall, Michelle, Amanda, Victoria, and Ricky Lyall; three great grandchildren, Jaylor, Esiah, Eziel, and Khilan Jade is on the way; three sisters, Debbie Williams and husband Scott, Angie Blankenship and husband Bill, and Jo Gray; one brother, Mike Shockley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
Ed was a Navy veteran having served his country for over 20 years, then later worked and retired from Trane in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He enjoyed playing golf, poker, and watching sports. He loved to watch movies with his wife and family like “Fools Rush In” and “The Shawshank Redemption”. He also loved to watch his kids play sports. His wife, kids, and grandkids were the loves of his life.
