Graveside Service for Edward Lee Mitchell Puntka, 75 of Arkoma, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Howe Cemetery in Howe, Oklahoma with Reverend Shawn Caldwell officiating. Services are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.

Edward Lee Mitchell Puntka was born on December 18, 1946 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Ida (Puntka) Mitchell and Jimmy Mitchell and passed away on January 22, 2022 in Arkoma, Oklahoma. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Mitchell, parents, Jimmy Mitchell and Ida Puntka; sister-in-law, Ruby Terrell; brother-in-law, Marlin Tylis Billy Jr.; son, Matthew Rocha, and grandson, Anthony Billy. He loved spending time with his family. Edward loved to travel, play and coach coed softball. He was a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan. Watching his grandkids, nieces, and nephews play sports was something he really enjoyed doing. He and his wife loved Elvis Presley. He thought a lot of his work family, he thoroughly enjoyed work, never missing a day. He was very proud of his Native American Heritage enjoying the culture and festivities and enjoyed lunches and trips with the Senior Citizens.

Survivors include his daughter, Sharon Patterson and husband Kenny Squire; sons, Gary Francis, Kelly Billy and wife Debbie; sisters-in-law; Imogene Terrell, Ramona Baker; grandchildren, Lillie Ann Rodriquez and husband Gustavo, Eddie Harjo, Natha Self, Hailey Self, Shawneecey Squire, Takota Squire, Kaylee Neal, Keith Squire, Kenneth Squire, Jr., Kendal Squire, Cruz Rocha, Marlin Rocha, Wynetti Rocha, Elie Billy; numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Cruz Rocha, Marlin Rocha, Dustin Billy, Jerrod Najar, Adrian Najar, Landon Billy, Curtis Anderson, and Joe Petit.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 5:00pm -7:00pm at the funeral home.
