Elsie Marie Goins, 82, of Heavener, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Heavener, Oklahoma. Elsie was born February 27, 1936 in Waldron, Arkansas to Alma Mae (Syler) and Coy Hughes.
She is survived by:
Two sons:
Carlton Humble of Fort Smith, Arkansas
Kenneth Humble and wife Elizabeth of Central Arkansas
Two daughters:
Linda Henbest of Waco, Texas
Barbara Weber of Waco, Texas
Four sisters:
Patsy McDaniel and husband Bud of Waldron, Arkansas
Shirley Hunsucker of Poteau, Oklahoma
Linda Hunsucker of Poteau, Oklahoma
Cathey Hunsucker of Poteau, Oklahoma
Four grandchildren
11 great-grandchildren
Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Earl Hunsucker; her first husband, Walter Humble; her second husband, Cecil Goins; and two brothers, William Myers and Leo Hughes; and one sister, Betty Hughes. Elsie worked in the cotton fields with her mom for years. Then she got married to Walter Humble of Searcy, Arkansas and had three children. Elsie then married her late husband, Cecil Goins and they had one daughter. She also worked in the nursing field for years and took care of her children. Elsie had a good life and enjoyed it to the fullest. She will be deeply missed by many whom knew and loved her.
There will be no services. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
