Elton Ollar of Heavener, Oklahoma was born September 3, 1947 in the Glendale Community to Cleo Melton and Emma (Milligan) Ollar and passed away in Gulfport, Mississippi on October 10, 2018 at the age of 71.


He is survived by:

One daughter:
Michelle Woods of Perry, Oklahoma

Two granddaughters:
Kiersten Woods of Perry, Oklahoma
Kayla Woods of Perry, Oklahoma

One great-grandson:
Tate Edgar

His companion:
Rhonda Ross of the home

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends


He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Juanita Ollar; a daughter, Tammy Ollar; four sisters, Pauline Blair, Imogene Bowman, Christean Bowman, and Hazel Ollar; and one brother, Melton Ollar.


Elton was a 1965 graduate of Heavener High School and a long-time resident of the area.


He worked in Construction for most of his life and was involved in many other endeavors.


Elton was also a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church.


He was an avid hunter and fisherman.


He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed life to the fullest. He especially loved that fact that his great grandson has his beautiful, blue eyes. Elton will be missed deeply by all whom loved and knew him.


Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Heavener First Baptist Church with Brother Sam Dyer and Brother Joe Haydon Hall officiating.


Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Glendale Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.


Pallbearers will be: Darrin Pitman, Terry Stites, Pat Cogburn, Rusty Haynes, Lane Titsworth, and Dusty Alexander.


Honorary Pallbearers will be: Tate Edgar, Johnny Johnston, Mike Andrews, Tommy Newcomer, Johnny Newcomer, Todd Woods, Richard Jolliff, and Donnie Killion.
