Eunice Carol Johnson was born June 16, 1942, to Joe and Minnie Lowery in Stilwell, Oklahoma.
She gained her wings on February 3, 2026, at her home in Cameron, Oklahoma.
Eunice is survived by her husband, Richard “Bob” Johnson of the home, her daughters, Patricia (William) Albin of Brandon, Mississippi and Annette Hogner McArthur of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, her son, Jorden Johnson of the home, Curtis Hogner of Stilwell, Oklahoma, her sisters, Diane Gordan and Gladys Brown and brother Charlie Lowery, her sons, Raphael, Ricky Tarin and Richardo, her step-daughters, Angie Kirk Byrd and Prudence Willard she is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eunice is preceded in death by her father, Joe Lowery and mother Minnie Sanders, her sons, Marvin Hogner, JR Hogner and Woodrow Hogner a daughter, Carolyn Foster Hogner and brothers, Jimmie Lowery and John Lowery.
Eunice loved the outdoors; fishing was her favorite pastime. She loved flower gardening, gathering wild onions, mushrooms, watercress and poke salad. She also enjoyed having company to visit with on the front porch with a cup of coffee.
The Celebration of Life for Eunice will be 11am Monday, February 9, 2026, in The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma 74953 with Pastor Bill Sanders officiating.
Family Visitations will be 2-4 pm, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave. Poteau, Oklahoma 74953.
Burial will follow at 2:30 pm in the Rock Fence Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Connor Wallace, Cameron Wallace, Buck Hitcher, Troy Halpain, Russ Johnson and Bryson Lowery
