Gary “Frog” Wayne Jones, 71, of Poteau, OK passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 in Heavener, OK. Frog was born December 8, 1949 in Poteau, OK to Bob & Ada Christeen (Qualls) Jones. He worked for the City of Poteau-Street Dept. He was a veteran of the US Army and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bob Allen, Johnny, Pete (Kenny Joe), Tommy (Spider) Jones; sister & brother in law, Patsy & Wayne Bottoms.
Survivors include daughters, Christy Green, Amanda Hoffman, Ashley Bost of Poteau, OK; 7 grandchildren; one great grandson; sister and brother in law, Deborah & Tommy Mead of Hodgen, OK; sister in law, Judy Jones of Poteau, OK; best friends and buddies, Jerry Hale, Jerry May and Andy Hale; numerous cousins, loved ones and friends.
Visitation was Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau. No services are planned.
