Geneva Dugan Ruff was born June 30, 1934 to Charlie and Georgia Dugan. She departed this life on Wednesday, 1:36 A.M., February 20, 2019.


She moved away from Fort Coffee as a teen to live with an Uncle in Langston, Oklahoma. She also lived in Wichita, Kansas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


She loved children and working with babies. She loved dressing up in beautiful clothes and shoes.


She moved back to Fort Coffee in the early 90's after the death of her husband, Lafayette Ruff in Oklahoma City in 1988.


She loved hanging out with the Ft. Coffee Senior Citizens and the various activities they shared, she loved church and was a faithful member of Bethel Church of God and then Macedonia Church of God until her health began to fail.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lafayette, and all her siblings.


She leaves to cherish her memory 1 son, Pastor Dennis R. Ruff, Macedonia Church of God, whom she called Ray (Nadine), 2 grandchildren, LaChanda Ruff Moore (Kevin) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Michael Dennis Ruff, Crossville, Tennessee, 1 Great Granddaughter, Kandra Briann Clardy of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.


A Homegoing Celebration will be held 11am Saturday, March 2nd at the Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma with burial to follow in the Fort Coffee Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.


The body may be viewed Friday between the hours of 12pm and 7pm at the funeral home.
