Funeral Service for George Adam Davis, 92 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Pocola, Oklahoma with George Spears officiating. 
George was born on May 29, 1931 in Pocola, Oklahoma to Lucy Davis (Barnes) and Webster Ed Davis and passed away on May 23, 2024 in Spiro, Oklahoma.  He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Nelson, Earl, Jim Ed, Charles and Claud Davis; two sisters, Inez Condra and Wilma Coffman. 
Survivors include his sister, Mary Florence Morgan; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones. George lived in Pocola all of his life. Graduating from high school where he played basketball and baseball. He was a farmer, dairy farmer and rancher until the last few years of his life. George was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pocola and seemed to know nearly everybody in Leflore County providing friendship and funds when needed to folk who needed help. in short: a generous and helpful friend to many and never without a story.
The family would like to thank the Spiro Nursing Home staff for their excellent care during his time there.
