He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Branscum; one sister, Margaret Louise Gregory; and one brother, Max Branscum.
George, Sr. was a longtime resident of the area and a mechanic. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and friends. George, Sr. really enjoyed being in the outdoors and drinking Busch beer.
A memorial service to honor George’s life will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2025 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Ed Drury officiating. Burial will be in Heavener Memorial Park. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
