A Memorial Service for George Waldron will be held 2:00pm Monday, July 25, 2022 at the First Christian Church (208 North Witte Street) in Poteau, Oklahoma with Mr. Jason Lloyd and Mr. Gary Vancel officiating. There will be a communion/family meal following the service at the First Christian Church Communion Hall provided by the Church.

George Lee Waldron was born on September 19th 1937 in Crowder, OK. He passed away on July 21st 2022 At Baptist Health Hospital, Ft Smith AR.

He was preceded in Death by his parent’s; Eddie Jack and Eva Holly (Cornell) Waldron of Quinton Oklahoma; his Wife Shirley (Poses) Waldron of the home; two Brothers, Eddie Waldron and Alonzo Waldron; one Sister, Margie Waldron; and one Grandson, CW2 Randy Lee Billings.

George was a State Correctional Office at McAlester State Prison and a farmer. He loved gardening and raised animals of all kinds but was especially fond of cats.

George is survived by two Daughters, Shelia A. Boyt of Houston, Texas and Eva May Cooper and husband, Richard of Poteau, Oklahoma; one Son, Kenneth L. Waldron and wife Maria of Thomas, Oklahoma; ten Grand Children, Scotty J. Woodral and wife Frankie, Brian A. Boyt and wife Jolene, Zachariah D. Chase, Caleb S. Chase and wife Amaris, Stephen A. Boyt and wife Micaela, Lydia A. Huynh and husband Tyson, Maya G. Waldron, Travis Waldron and wife Lacie, and Bethany Weaver and husband David; sixteen Great Grand Children, Penelope L. Woodral, Adaline G. Woodral, Leona S. Woodral, Brianna M. Boyt, Brady E. Boyt, Monica M. Boyt, Yentl M. Chase, Amira R. Chase, Ziya A. Chase, Azari Elisa Chase, Zella Bella Chase, Avonlea G. Huynh, Aubrey Waldron, Brooklyn Waldron, Kinley Waldron, Blakey Weaver, and Jayden Weaver; numerus Nieces and Nephews, as well as Great Nieces and Great Nephews, a host of In-laws, Family and Friends.

He will be missed by all of us but we will all see him again.
