Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
George Wheaton was born on February 17, 1945 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Lora Jo (Weatherford) Wheaton and George Edward Wheaton and passed away on April 10, 2026 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Linda Sue (Morse) Wheaton, who preceded him in death on July 6, 2011.
He was also preceded in death by his parents.
George enjoyed playing dominos and had a deep love for music. He especially loved playing the saxophone and clarinet, which brought him much joy throughout his life.
Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Nicole Wheaton; grandchildren, Haley Northern, Bryant Sizemore, and Braylee Douglas; great-grandchildren, Bariyah Nicole Sizemore and Elliott Wayne Northern; along with numerous other relatives and loved ones.
