Harrell Dean Turner of Summerfield, Oklahoma was born May 24, 1936 in Lone Pine, Oklahoma to Luther and Bertha (Pickle) Turner and went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2021 in Summerfield, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

Renona Crowden and husband Pete of Ft. Smith, Arkansas

Tikeyta Lynn Anderson and husband Bob of Checotah, Oklahoma

One son:

Brett Turner and wife Lisa of Loon Lake, Washington

One uncle:

J.C. Pickle of Sun City, Arizona

13 grandchildren

15 great-grandchildren

Numerous other relatives and a host of many friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Bertha (Pickle) Turner; one son, Marty Joe Turner; and one sister, Clara Hollan.

Harrell was a longtime resident of the area. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Harrell was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Harrell was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as an automobile mechanic.

Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
