Haylee Renee Newman of LeFlore, Oklahoma was born February 13, 2002 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Shane and Brandy Melaina Newman and passed away on April 29, 2023 in the Reichert Community in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 21.

Haylee is preceded in death by her great-great-uncle, Wilmer Duncan; her maternal great-grandfathers, Robert Ward, Jr. and Haskell “PaPa” Luman; her paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Mary Newman; her great-grandfather, Pete Edwards.
Haylee was a 2020 graduate of LeFlore High School and a member of LeFlore Baptist Church. She graduated with her Associates of Applied Sciences in Nursing from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. Haylee was employed at Baptist Hospital in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She loved spending time with her brothers, fishing, vacationing, sports, foodie, and being with her friends and family. Haylee was a beautiful person inside and out. Her stunning smile and bright personality would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for her family and friends. Haylee will be forever missed.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at LeFlore High School Gymnasium with Reverend Johnny Montgomery and Mrs. Heather Spiegel, MS, RN Nursing Instructor officiating. Burial will follow in LeFlore Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Megan Pruitt, Emma Durant, Lindsey Waits, Alyssa Waits, Kaylen Hudlow, Kenzie Pope, Shadie Crase, Abree Singleterry, Lakota Ingle, Katrina Hudlow, and Lindsey Hudlow.

Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Wednesday.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
