Ida Lorene Higgins, 94, of Spiro, Oklahoma was born on September 22, 1926 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Clara Edyth (Norris) Crumb and Elmer Lee Crumb and passed away on December 15, 2020 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Ida was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Janet Higgins; and five sisters. She was a member of Birch Chapel Assembly of God, loved yard work, and was retired from Whirlpool.
Survivors include her daughter Lagina Ridenour and husband Geary; three grandchildren, Joshua Dodd and fiancé Dana, Chloe Torres and husband David, Malcolm Ridenour and fiancé Nikki; two great granddaughters, Savannah Dodd, Braylee Byford; two brothers, Raymond Crumb, Bill Crumb, numerous other relatives and loved ones.
Viewing will be 9:00am – 7:00pm, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the funeral home. The family will hold a private graveside service at New Hope Cemetery at a later date.
