Jack Miller, 77, of Bates, AR, passed away Friday December 14, 2018, in his home. He was born January 16, 1941, in Bates, AR. to Jasper and Allie (Page) Miller. He was a member of A New Beginning Pentecostal Church of God in Bates. He was a devoted father and grandpa.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Cathy Eagle, brothers Roy Nix and Deral Miller, and mother of his children Jo Miller.
Survivors include his sons Keith and Charla Miller of Bates and Norman and Amanda Miller of Rose Bud, AR, daughter Joy and Greg Anthony of Poteau, brother Bill Miller of Bates, Jacks best friend Carl D. Maxwell, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, special friend Bertha Miller as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl D Maxwell, Roy Nix, Rod, Nix, Mike Nix, Terry Nix, Ronnie Miller and Jerry Miller.
Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at A New Beginning Penatecostal Church of God Bates, AR with Rev. James Self, Bro. Millard Smith and Bro. Don Martin officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Gipson Cemetery Bates, AR.
Visitation will be Mondayday 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM with the family greeting friends from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the funeral home and Tuesday at 11AM at the church before the service.
