Funeral Service for Jackie Dale Cooper, 80 of Spiro, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Howard Jeffery officiating. Wake Service 6pm – 8pm Wednesday at Mallory- Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Jackie was born on November 23, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Mary (Judd) and Sullivan Cooper and passed away on December 1, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Emma; one son, James Cooper; grandson, Henry Joe Harrison; brother, Joe Cooper; son-in-law, Michael Ward Jr.; and sister-in-law, Caroline Cooper.
Jackie Dale Cooper is survived by daughters, Carolyn Ward and husband Louie, Jackie Jeffery and husband Jack, Cindy Stanley and husband Brian, Stacy Cooper and husband Robbie, and Candice Ward; one son, Harry Cooper and wife Debbie; sisters, Irene Boggs and husband Michael, and Nita Johnson; one brother, Freddie Cooper; 21 grandchildren, Christopher, Tiffany, Jackie, Tess, Holly, Shadie, Jack, Jesse, Ronnie, Johnny Dalton, Emma, Robert, Promise, Laney, Emily, Serenity, Lil Joe, Cynthia, Lexie, Mercedes, and Shelby; and 28 great-grandchildren numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
