Funeral Service for Jacqueline "Jacque" Camel, 83 of Bokoshe, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Church in Poteau, Oklahoma with Father Jim Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.

Jacqueline Marie Camel was born on September 14, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio to June (Smith) Charles and Joseph Waessil and passed away on October 26, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  She was married to Robert "Bob" Camel on October 26, 1957 in California. Jacque was preceded in death by her parents, husband,  son, David Wayne Camel; step dad, Richard Charles; brother, Jonathan Waessil; and sister, Penny Perkins. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Poteau, and worked as Bokoshe City Clerk for over 20 years. Jacque also worked at Blue Ribbon Downs Race Track. She loved her dogs and her family dearly.

Survivors include one daughter, Pamela Gay and husband Philip; one son, James Camel; two sisters, Georgiana Beckert, Josephina "Josie" Sharp and husband Helmut; six grandchildren, Jesse Gay, Amye McCarley, Kristi Rowland, Cheryl Branum, Sharon Reidenhour, Robert "RJ" Camel; nineteen great grandchildren, companion, Al Pruisner, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Friday, October 30, 2020 at the funeral home.
