James is survived by:

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Harrison “Buster” and Veda Lavonne (Reed) Ridenour; his wife, Doris Ridenour; one son, Jack Hunt; and two brothers, Geary Ridenour and Clintus Ridenour.
James was a cherished member of the community and a proud resident for many years. He owned and operated Poor Boys Auto Salvage in Panama before making Borger, Texas, his home. After his time in the auto salvage business, James dedicated himself to public service as a Sanitation Worker for the City of Borger until his retirement. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, James found joy in the company of his family and loved ones. His warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
James’ Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
