James D. “Jimmy” Hale, 74, of Spiro, Oklahoma, was born January 27, 1944 in Durant, Oklahoma to JD and Clyde Nadine (Phelps) Hale and passed away August 27, 2018 in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Jimmy is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Elaine Nixon and husband Matthew of Keota, Oklahoma, three sons, James Darwin Hale and wife Amy of Spiro, Michael DeWayne Hale and wife Shirley of Columbia, Tennessee, Johnny Lee Hale and wife Shannon of Stigler, Oklahoma, 14 grandchildren, Jessica, Kristen, Crissy, Lexi, Nikki, Ashley, Dustin, Whitney, Morgan, Blayn, Judson, Jonace, Nicole, and Nathan, 9 great grandchildren, Jayce, Jaylnn, Karlee, Lyncoln, Taylor, Colton, Mitchell, Katessa, and Jason, one sister, Tresea Ann Hays and husband Jimmy of Stigler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, JD and Nadine Hale, his companion, Bertha Eubank, and three brothers, Harold Wayne, David Lee, and Billy Jack Hale. Jimmy enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles, fishing, and racing cars, he was a Christian who loved his family and friends dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 31st at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler, Oklahoma with Reverend Rick Stout officiating.
Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be, Jimmy Hays, Jason Hays, Shelby Sloan, and Matthew Nixon, Honorary pallbearers will be, James Hale, TJ Hale, Bobby Hale, Dustin Hale, Jeffrey Hays, and Nathan Chartier.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of Mallory Martin Funeral Home of Stigler, Oklahoma.
