James Earnest “Chock” Manley of Heavener, Oklahoma was born May 7, 1940 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Homer and Edith (Mitchell) Manley and passed away June 1, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 78.
He is survived by:

Five grandchildren:
Michael and wife Bayley Molholt of Perkins, Oklahoma
Amber Hood of Heavener, Oklahoma
Tyler Manley of Heavener, Oklahoma
Jamie and Mattison Goforth of Heavener, Oklahoma

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cheryl Manley; and one son, Matthew Manley.
Chock was a life-long resident of the area and was a 1958 graduate of Heavener High School.
He attended the Oklahoma state University School of Technical Training.
Chock began working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation at the Oklahoma City Residency Office as a Draftsman in November, 1961 then later transferred to the Heavener Residency Office and retired in July, 1992 as a Transportation Specialist after working for 31 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, was an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan, and enjoyed watching his cattle.
He was a big-time domino player.
Chock will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Mr. Robert Swinford officiating.
Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park in Heavener, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Carl “Runt” Shelton, David Huddleston, Kip Kelly, Justin Hedrick, Jay Hill, Jimmy Thomas, and James Mathis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Michael Molholt, Tyler Manley, Tim McClain, Robert Swinford, James “Bo” Shupert, Robert “Rocky” Rockman, Cleve Bandy, Travis Lewallen, and Smilly Shipman.
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Monday; 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday; and 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
