James “Jerry” Jarrett Bunch III, 80, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on February 13, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri to parents James Jarrett Bunch Jr. and Norma Jean Bevel. Jerry worked as a tool and die machinist at Randco Tools for many years. Jerry was also a car dealer, off and on, for over 30 years and eventually retired in 2005. He loved to hunt and fish, but he would tell you, his biggest accomplishment was being a devoted husband to Shirley and family man to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They were all the love of his life.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandmother that raised him, Ethel Harold.

Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley of the home, his children Jimmy Bunch of Panama, Oklahoma, Mike Bunch and wife Brenda of Little Kansas, Oklahoma, Rhonda Weiche of Alma, Arkansas, and Charlie Bunch and wife Angela of Spiro, Oklahoma, his 10 grandchildren, his 12 great grandchildren, and his sisters Dian Neugebauer and husband Larry of Belton, Missouri and Vicki Lueck and husband Greg of Grandview, Missouri, along with many other relatives and loved ones.

The Celebration of Life Services honoring Jerry are currently pending and will be updated once finalized.
