James Lecil Crabtree of Howe, Oklahoma was born July 24, 1930 in Hartford, Arkansas to Pink and Hazel (Sims) Crabtree and passed away January 27, 2020 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 89.

Chad, Cory, Brandon, Ben, Danny and Shakara
Eleven great-grandchildren
Numerous other family members and a host of friends
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dale; his twin brother, William Cecil; one sister Amozette Crabtree.
James was a long-time resident of the Howe area and was a veteran, serving in the army during the Korean era. He was a coal miner and worked for Burnett Lumber Company as a mill right for 22 years. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the First Assembly of God in Howe, Oklahoma with Brother Andre Ming, Brother Billy Watkins and Brother Daniel Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Brandon Crabtree, Cory Crabtree, Ben Crabtree, Danny Crabtree, Caleb Crabtree and Gavin Crabtree
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until noon, Wednesday at the funeral home.
