Jimmy Doyle Stanford, 66, passed away on March 3, 2026, at 8:25am in Wister, Oklahoma. Jimmy was born on May 8, 1959, in Soper, OK to parents Hulan and Betty (Reynolds) Stanford. Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Jimmy worked as a logger for many years in the logging industry. He was a jack of all trades and was not afraid to take on any challenge that came along. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, his son Jason Marsh, his sister Carolyn Francis, and his brothers Robert Reynolds, Marvin Stanford, Eddy “Carl” Stanford, and David Stanford.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Linda of the home, his daughters Cynthia Buck, DeAnna Jones, Mary Jones, and Natasha Sullivan, his son Dylon Sullivan, his 10 grandchildren, his brothers Rodney Stanford and Joe Stanford, and his sisters Brenda Foster and Oletta Starkey, along with many other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Services for Jimmy will be held privately, at a later date, by his family in Soper, Oklahoma.
