He was born on April 5, 1942 in Spiro, Oklahoma to Oma Davis and Floyd Woods and passed away on March 25, 2023 in Spiro, Oklahoma. Jimmy was married to Cassie Sampley Woods on July 1, 1969 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Woods and son, Shay Woods.
Survivors include his wife, Cassie; son, James Woods and wife Rita; grandchildren, Gage Woods, Caitlin Woods; brothers, Johnny Woods, Frankie Woods, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
