His parents preceded him in death along with his brothers, Frank Hainer, Jim Hainer, and Donald Hainer. John enjoyed hiking and fishing. He was a friend to everyone he met, never meeting a stranger. He would give someone the shirt of his back no matter their situation, always willing to help. His daughter was his world until he had grandchildren. He loved to watch them play sports, and would tell everyone how proud he was of them. John was a huge animal lover and loved his dogs like they were his childrenSurvivors include his daughter, Nicole Nixon and husband Kenny; grandchildren, KJ Nixon, Brendin Nixon, McKenna Nixon.
