Funeral Service for John DeMato, 84 of Spiro will be at 2pm on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Harvest Time Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas with Pastor Chad Overton officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope in Spiro, Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.

John was born on November 15, 1937 in Kansas City,Missouri to Gussie (Hudson) and Giovanni John Demato, Sr. and passed away on January 31, 2022 in Fort Smith, Ar. He was preceded in death by his wife Julie DeMato of 51 years; parents John Sr. and Gussie DeMato; and sixteen brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his two daughters, Sonia Parrish, and Cindy Wells and husband William; Two sons, Johnny DeMato and wife Charity, Danny DeMato and wife Tammy; Ten Grandchildren; Tabbatha Kamolsiri (Mark), Crystal Graper (Will), Heath DeMato (Amanda), Roger Guinn (Jen), Joseph Guinn (Ashley), Allyson Boen (Luke), Jordan DeMato (Karlie), Colby DeMato (Courtney), Alex DeMato, and Sophie DeMato; twenty-three Great-grandchildren, and four Great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Pallbearers will be Heath DeMato, Jordan DeMato, Colby DeMato, Alex DeMato, Roger Guinn, and Joseph Guinn.

Viewing will be Friday 5-7 Mallory-Martin Chapel.
