John Paul Luman of Heavener, Oklahoma was born January 17, 1964 in Poteau, Oklahoma to James Preston and Iona Faye (Taylor) Luman and passed away July 18, 2021 in Hodgen, Oklahoma at the age of 57.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Preston and a brother, Danny Luman. John was a longtime resident of the area and a truck driver. He was of the Assembly of God faith. John loved spending time with family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Calvary Church in Poteau, Oklahoma with Mr. John Harris and Mr. Dalton Luman officiating. Per his request, his body was donated to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
