Funeral services for John Worton will be 1:00pm Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Immaculate Conception Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas, burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith. The family will visit with friends from 5pm-7pm on Tuesday with a Rosary service starting at 7pm at the Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma.
Johnny Jude Worton was born on August 14, 1963 in Council Bluff, Iowa to Daisy Belle (Cooper) Worton and Alfred Luke Worton and passed away on January 18, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married to Tillie Bell (O’Hara) Worton on February 7, 1985 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Meshick Billy Worton. Johnny loved the Oklahoma Sooners and enjoyed yard work, grilling, and talking about the good ole days. He was a devoted husaband, father and grandfather and loved his family dearly. He always said his biggest accomplishment was his family.
Survivors include his wife, Tillie Bell Worton; son, Johnny Jude Worton, II; daughter, Meggan Marie Wells and husband JJ; grandchildren, Sophia, Chanel, Jude, Bobby John, Johnny Jude, III, James, Joe; brother, Alfred Worton and wife Mamie; father and mother-in-law, Roger and Johnnie O’Hara, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
