Johnnie Louise Melton, 54, passed away on September 23, 2026, in Fayetteville, Arkansas with her family at her side. Johnnie was born on August 25, 1972, in Oklahoma City to parents Johnny and Lola (Franklin) Melton.
Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Hugo Cedeno.
Johnnie is survived by her children Nicholas Melton and wife Misty of McAlester, Oklahoma, Summer Melton of Poteau, Oklahoma, Patricia Palmer and husband Kalen of Yanish, Oklahoma, and Allen Tom of Talihina, Oklahoma, her 17 grandchildren, her 2 great grandchildren, her sister Samantha Olivares of Howe, Oklahoma, and her brothers John Melton of Poteau, Oklahoma, Emerson Melton and wife Debbie of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Rodney Melton of Stigler, Oklahoma, along with many other relatives and loved ones.
The Celebration of Life Services for Johnnie will be held 2pm – Monday, September 28, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Good Springs Cemetery in Lennox, Oklahoma. Viewing hours for Johnnie will be from 10am – 5pm on Friday, September 25, 2026, 10am – 5pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and start again at 9am Monday, September 28, 2026.
