Joseph Ray Williams of Sand Springs, Oklahoma was born July 27, 1947 in Truman, Arkansas to Joseph Reed Williams and Patricia June (Miller) Lyons and passed away October 19, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71.
He is survived by:
Two daughters:
Kimberly Malone and husband Marty of Sand Springs, Oklahoma
Katherine Waldrop of Meriden, Connecticut
One brother:
David Williams and wife Sherry of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Six grandchildren:
Nikki Malone, Lance Malone, Matthew Malone, Camilla Waldrop, Elanor Waldrop, and Samuel Waldrop
Three great-grandchildren:
Kylun Bright, Eevee Malone, and Lillian Malone
Numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and a host of friends
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Justin; and one brother, Jerry Williams.
Joe was a veteran of the United States Marines, serving his country in three tours in Vietnam. He also loved to hunt and fish and be outdoors.
Graveside memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 22, 2018 at the Old Bokoshe Cemetery Pavilion in Bokoshe, Oklahoma with Reverend Ronald Miller officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home of Spiro, Oklahoma.
