Judy Kay Mead of Heavener, Oklahoma was born October 7, 1958 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Clinton, Sr. and Barbara (Rockwell) Phipps and passed away on January 17, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62.

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton Phipps, Sr.
Judy was a Loan Clerk for the First National Bank in Heavener and a member of Hodgen First Baptist Church. Judy was known for her love of stray animals especially dogs and cats. She dearly loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew her. Judy was a loving wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Hontubby Cemetery with Brother Denton Mead officiating. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Judy will lie in state from 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday and then 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
