Kathryn Ann Free of Waldron, Arkansas was born August 10, 1952 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Tommy Joe and Bonnie (Harrell) Robinson and passed away November 16, 2020 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 68.

She is survived by:

Three sons and daughters-in-law:

Caleb Free and wife Amy

Josh Free and wife Dusty

Daniel Free and wife Krista all of Bates, Arkansas

Eight grandchildren:

Kylee Free, Kinlee Free, Colton Free, Ashlynn Free, Kason Free, Dylan Free, Jacob Free, and Kymber Free all of Bates, Arkansas

Two cousins:

JoAnn Rice and husband Terry of Bates, Arkansas

Susan Crane and husband Rock of Wister, Oklahoma

Numerous other relatives and a host of friends

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; and her father and mother-in-law, William “Bill” and Darlene Free. She was a life-long resident of the area and a member of the Southside Baptist Church in Waldron. Kathy worked in the office for 52 years at the LeFlore County Livestock Auction. She also worked in the office at the Waldron Livestock Auction and the Fort Smith Stockyards. Kathy had a love for Jesus Christ and had a great gift of playing the piano. Her smile and her laugh were infectious. She loved her family and enjoyed having everyone around her kitchen table. Kathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Southside Baptist Church in Waldron, Arkansas with Brother George McGraw and Brother Joe Haydon Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Weeks Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be:

Jeremy Rice, Paul Rice, Johnny Paul Free, Scotty Free, Jared Dewitt, Rocky Allen Crane, and Adam Emmerson

Honorary pallbearers will be:

Pat Edwards, Donnie Shadwick, Danny Shadwick, and Michael Emmerson

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m., until 8:00 p.m., with the family visiting with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
