A memorial service for Kathy Gwen Scott, 71 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be at 10:00am on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Shawn Caldwell officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
She was born on December 3, 1952 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Dovie (Sutton) May and Howard May and passed away on July 8, 2024 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Dovie May; sisters, Jewel Strain, Louise Sneed, Carolyn Statham; brothers, Cleve May, Dwight May, and Andrew May. Gwen was married to Randy for 36 years on July 5, 2024. She was retired from Planters Peanut after 28 years. She loved boating, camping, horse riding, old cars, riding on Randy’s Harley Davidson, and any other adventures Randy wanted to do. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially those great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Randy Scott; daughters, Alesha Rogers and husband Ted, Jammie Hatfield; bonus daughters, Natalie Adams and husband Courtney, Tiffany Berry and husband Gimo; mother-in-law, Linda Sallee; sister-in-law, Rhonda Runde; brother-in-law, Rodney Scott and wife Susan; grandchildren, Ashton Steele and Matt Fuller, Brittany Rogers, Nick Hatfield and wife Maleaha, Katelyn Hatfield, Hayden Parker, Kaylyn Parker, Paisley Wilkinson, Matthew Wilkinson, Eli Adams, great grandchildren, Payton Ramirez, Bryton Rogers, Blayne Rogers, Savana Pierce, Raylyn Pierce, Benjamin Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
