Kellie was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and LaWanna Collins; one sister, Penny Qasem; two brothers, Brett Collins and Barry Collins; and two great-nephews, Matt Duschel and Zac Duschel.
Kellie was a life-long resident of the area. She enjoyed singing and listening to country music, especially Meryle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Kellie loved spending time with her family, especially her sisters. She was very funny, feisty, flirtatious, and adventurous. Kellie was also a loving wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.
A funeral service to honor Kellie’s life will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel in Poteau, Oklahoma with Brother Keith Stewart officiating. Kellie will be laid to rest in Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Adams, Dustin Adams, Bradley Adams, Dej Mathis, Randall Pruitt, John Leroy Pruitt III, and John Leroy Pruitt IV.
Viewing for Kellie will be from Noon until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 with the family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 28918 205th Ave, Poteau, Oklahoma.
