Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Shanna Short, his brother Kenny Maden, and his sisters Susie Lovell and Betty Ann Prall.
Larry is survived by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis of the home, his grandchildren Paige McCoy and husband Chris of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Chelsea Hansel and husband Corbin of Mansfield, Arkansas, his great grandchildren Jayden McCoy, Riley McCoy, Sophia McCoy, Chase Hansel, and Coen Hansel, his sisters Mary Ayers of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Kathy Maden of Pocola, Oklahoma, his brothers Tony Maden of Pocola, Oklahoma and Terry Maden, also of Pocola, Oklahoma, and his son in law Scott Short of Greenwood, Arkansas, along with many other relatives and loved ones.
The Celebration of Life Services for Larry will be held 1pm – Thursday, September 24, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma with TJ Holt officiating and burial to follow Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, Oklahoma. The Family of Larry Maden will greet friends from 5pm – 7pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, also at The Cedars on Dewey. Casket bearers will be Corbin Hansel, Chris McCoy, Scott Short, Terry Maden, Tommy Henry, Parker Henry, Wayne Henry, and Will Woods. Honorary Casket bearers will be his grandchildren Jayden McCoy, Riley McCoy, Sophia McCoy, Chase Hansel, and Coen Hansel.
