Lee “Shiffon” Ivey, 72 years old of Wilburton, Oklahoma went to be with the Jesus on August 28 2026, She was born July 21, 1954, in Greenville Kentucky. She married at 14 years old and became a mom at 16. She had her third child at age 18. Being a mother was the most important thing to Shiffon, and her greatest joy. She later acquired her GED, obtained an associate for EOSC in business and then went on to graduate Nursing School with honors from Carl Albert State College. She devoted 28 years of her life as a Registered Nurse, caring for others was truly her greatest attribute.
Shiffon is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Opal Heady, sister, Martine Mills, ex-husband, William Ivey and son-in-law Anthony Botello.
Shiffon leaves behind three daughters, Susan Ivey, Sharon Stanford and Sharla Ivy; five grandchildren, Jessica Littlejohn, Jacob Hood, Landon Ivy, Sabrina Stanford and Raygan Stanford; one great grandchild Wyatt Dean Ward; one sister, Vickie Derryberry and one brother Charles Heady
Shiffon was a Christian lady that loved Jesus Christ and she was devoted to her family. She loved going to church at Sonshine Fellowship Church in Wilburton and enjoyed spending time with her two fur babies Abby and Daisy. She was truly an angel to all who knew her. She will forever be missed by those left behind until we meet again in the kingdom of heaven.
Memorial Services for Shiffon will be held privately by family at a later date.
