Lenora Ellen (Burton) Williams, 89, of Reichert, Oklahoma was born on November 12, 1930 to Clyde & Iva (Carlin) Burton in Salina, Kansas. Lenora began her eternal life on November 22, 2019 in Heavener, Oklahoma.


She is survived by:
One son and daughter-in-law:
Cecil and Sue Williams of Howe, Oklahoma

Six granddaughters:
Amy Williams-Donathan and husband, Jimmy of Poteau, Oklahoma
Laura Williams-Harrison and husband, James of Muse, Oklahoma
Courtney Williams-Akins and husband, Justin of Poteau, Oklahoma
Peggy Cornell-Cormany and husband, Manuel of Poteau, Oklahoma
Amy Gamble of Tucker, Oklahoma
Tanna Kay Fox and husband, Jeff of Twilight, Oklahoma

Three grandsons:
Daniel Cornell and wife, Trina of Shady Point, Oklahoma
Colton Williams and wife, Corie of Van Buren, Arkansas
Darryl Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada

21 great grandchildren

One great-great grandchild

Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 62 years, CL Williams; one sister, June Dever; one brother, Kenneth Burton; two daughters, Deborah Ellen Williams & Priscilla Jane Cornell; one son, Randall Eugene Williams.


Lenora was a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ for 62 years. She was also a loyal member of the Reichert Quilting Club. Over the years, Lenora worked at the Ryburn-Cardinal Grocery Store and IGA in Heavener, OK. She helped her husband, CL operate a cattle farm and grew an acre large garden. She was gifted with a green thumb and loved all flowers and plants especially her elephant ears. She could name all of her plants by their scientific names.


Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Don Cherry officiating. Interment will follow in the Reichert Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home in Heavener, Oklahoma.


Pallbearers will be: her family


Viewing will begin at noon until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. The family will have visitation with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, Lenora expressed her wishes of donations be sent in her honor to Summerfield Church of Christ c/o Tracy Loyd 42824 Curtis Lane Wister, OK 74966.
