Leonard Dugan of Spiro, Oklahoma passed away Thursday January 23, 2020 in a local hospital at the age of 66. Leonard “Butchy” Dugan was born in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma on January 17, 1954 to John and Emil (Thompson) Dugan. He grew up in a Christian home. Leonard attended and graduated from Spiro Public School System in 1973. He accepted Christ in his life at a young age and was a member at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Roland, Oklahoma, where he served as an usher and was also on the usher board. He worked at as at Whirlpool in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Leonard was a very laid back individual whom loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his great nephew Da’Ka’Ious and attending his games until his health failed him.
He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved mother Emil Dugan of Spiro, Oklahoma, three sisters; Kay Clayton of Fort Coffee, Oklahoma, Arrena McCurtain of Spiro, Oklahoma, Marie Perry (Elder Arthur) of Fort Smith, Arkansas, two brothers; Robert Dugan (Lesile) of Spiro, Oklahoma, Lonnie Eubanks of Minnesota, two sons; Jarron Steele(Pamela Kay) of Fort Coffee, Oklahoma, Maurice Roberson of Kansas City, Kansas, two daughters; Brittney Dugan of Kansas City, Kansas, Tosha Galbreath, 7 grandkids, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Roman Dugan, his nephew, Adrian Clayton, and his Paternal and Maternal Grandparents.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Roland with Dennis Ruff Officiating. Viewing Friday, 9am-7pm with a wake service 6pm-7pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fort Coffee Oklahoma under the direction of Mallory- Martin Funeral Home in Spiro Oklahoma.
