Leta Cooper, 70, of Poteau, OK, fell asleep in death Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Poteau, OK. She was born September 30, 1947 in Tulsa, OK to Edward and Leta Oscar (Runyon) Green.


She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Poteau, Oklahoma.


Leta is preceded in death by her parents.


Survivors include her husband of 51 years Jimmy Cooper of the home, son and daughter-in-law Chuck & Hannah Cooper of Denton, TX, daughter and son-in-law Jeanne and Robert Nichols of Rudy, AR, two grandchildren Brandi and Jamie Wilson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members, friends, and loved ones.


Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK with Ron Brown officiating.


Memorial service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Poteau, Oklahoma.


Visitation will be Thursday 3 p.m – 8 p.m, Friday 9 a.m -8 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grace Manor Funeral Home in Poteau.


Services are under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home, Poteau, OK.
