Leveta Faye “Rufuss” Davis of Hodgen, Oklahoma was born August 6, 1953 in Casa Grand, Arizona to Willie M. and Laura Faye (Harris) Lawson and passed away on November 13, 2025 in Hodgen, Oklahoma at the age of 72.

Earl Davis and wife Redonna of Big Cedar, Oklahoma

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Laura Lawson; two sisters Linda and Shirley; one grandson, Tommy Lee Carlson; one great-grandbaby, angel baby Guinn; two sons-in-law, Byg Guinn and James Rainwater; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Carlson; numerous aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Leveta was a life-long resident of the area and a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Leveta will be deeply missed.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Big Cedar Freewill Baptist Church in Big Cedar, Oklahoma with Reverend Steve Ramsey and Mr. David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Big Cedar Cemetery under the care of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Casey Davis, Chris Davis, Shannon Davis, Bryan Davis, Cody Putman, and Zeke Cochran.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: David Davis, Vernon Davis, Gary Rose, Eugene Norvell, and Bobby Cruse
