Graveside Service for Linda Fay Smith, 74 of Monroe, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Graveside in Monroe, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
Linda was born on November 30, 1948 in Lewisville, Arkansas to Bessie (Jones) Green and Loyd Keeney and passed away on August 3, 2023 in Weatherford, Texas. She was preceded in death by her faithful companion, John Pfalzgraf; parents, Bessie Green, and Loyd Keeney; grandparents, Wade and Evie Jones; sister, Virginia Sanders; brothers, Charles, Bill, Marvin, and Thurman “Tex” Keeney. Linda raised her two sons, loved spending time with her family, and grandkids. She enjoyed gardening and ceramics.
Survivors include her sons, David Sharp, and Johnny Sharp; grandchildren, Rose Thomas, Tammy Sharp, John Sharp, Jessie Sharp, and James Sharp; great grandchildren, Denise Ford, Alyssa Ford, Katie Tiffin, and Sierra Tiffin.
Pallbearers will be David Sharp, Beverly Thomas, Tammy Sharp, Rose Thomas, Kevin Tiffin, and Trent Tiffin.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
