Linda Kay Leonard, of Spiro, Oklahoma was born January 21, 1950 in Spiro, Oklahoma, and passed away November 25, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 69. She is survived by three sons; Mike Chumlie and wife Lisa of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dwayne Leonard and wife Sissy of Howe, Oklahoma, Kirk Leonard and wife Tonya of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one sister, Carol Osborne and husband Tim of Spiro, Oklahoma, one brother, Kenneth Nitchol and wife Kim of Spiro, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren; Anika Chumlie, Austin Chumlie and wife Destiny, AJ Gutierrez and husband Fernando, Brittany Leonard, Lexy McDaniel, Taylor McSperitt, Sara Evans, Kirklind Leonard, five great grandchildren: Kenia Gutierrez, Brayden Sheldon, Mila Gutierrez, Leeland Kendrix, Adaline McSperitt, niece Lindsay Beach and husband Richard, nephew Levi Nitchol, numerous other relatives, and loved ones. Linda was preceded in death by her mother; Alta Graham, brother, Freddy Nitchol, and grandson, Tyler Leonard. Linda was a devoted mother and loved her boys with all she had. Her grandkids and great grandbabies were the light of her life. She was an incredible cook and loved to share the gift with anyone who was hungry. She enjoyed family gatherings where her food was always the highlight of the day. She loved to read, sew, quilt, and crochet. Storytelling was a favorite of hers, and boy did she have stories! Her laugh was contagious and she had a way of drawing you in even if the laughter was at her expense. Linda will be missed more than words can express, but her story lives on in her kids and grandkids never to be forgotten. Memorial Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro, Oklahoma with Reverend Eddie Blankenship officiating.
