Lois Dean (Faulkenberry) Brown of Howe, Oklahoma was born September 27, 1928 in Howe, Oklahoma to Morris and Ova (Dickerson) Faulkenberry and went to her heavenly home on January 21, 2023 in Pocola, Oklahoma at the age of 94.
She is survived by:

Kay Wolf and husband Danny of Hackett, Arkansas
Marilyn Ray of Howe, Oklahoma
One son:
Frankie Brown and wife Debbie of Keota, Oklahoma
One sister:
Mary Sue Highfill of Heavener, Oklahoma
One brother:
Marshall Faulkenberry of Yanis, Texas
13 grandchildren
Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends
She was preceded in death by her parents Ova and Morris Faulkenberry; her husband Lloyd Brown; two sisters twin Erma Bowles and Wanda Faulkenberry; one son Jackie Brown.
Lois was a well-known citizen of Howe and was a homemaker. She worked as a waitress for several restaurants. Lois also was a clerk for several different stores. She loved spending time cooking for others. She always made sure no one in Howe went hungry. Lois spent countless hours helping at the Senior Center and being the first one at the door to take food to the loved ones that have had a death in the family. She will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Marshall “Petie” Faulkenberry, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: L.C. Brown, Joe Dawes, Allen Bowles, Jason Bowles, David Salsman, Jr., and Justin Vickers.
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday; and 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday; 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday; and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
