Funeral Service for Louise Jean Holcomb, 80 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Ellis Chapel Cemetery in Wister, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Louise was born on April 2, 1943 in Pitcher, Oklahoma to Hazel (Judd) Haynes and Alonzo Haynes and passed away on April 1, 2024 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Holcomb, brothers, Bud Haynes, Walter Haynes, and Richard Haynes; sisters, Lois Webb, and Marilyn Smith.

Louise better known as "Granny"" loved to be on the go, whether it was trips across the country to visit casinos, visiting her family, or whatever adventure popped into her head. Granny was quite the entertainer, she enjoyed being around people, and this showed in her work. Louise and her husband Dale owned and operated the Green Country Dance Hall in Poteau, where she brought in music entertainers from all over. After closing Green Country they moved to Sallisaw where they owned a jewelry store until Dale passed away. Granny then moved to Tulsa and opened a lounge, after a few years she purchased another and operator the two until she retired. Granny loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Willhite and husband Randy; son, Thomas Eugene Tucker; stepdaughter, Pat Myers and husband Cal; stepson, Marty Holcomb; grandchildren, Jason Moore, Joseph Moore and wife Kimberly, Justin Tucker and wife Tiffani, Amber Bumagarder, Hannah Tucker, Mackenzie Tucker, and Brayden Tucker; 45 great grandchildren; brother, John Haynes; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
