Funeral Service for Lynita Lovell, 64 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 10am on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Lynita was born on January 25, 1958 in Bakersville, California to Vera (Gillispie) Gee and and passed away on January 1, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was married to Ronnie Lovell on August 24, 1982 in Shady Point, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Rickey Shadden, Don Shadden, David Shadden, Garland Gee, and Paul Gee; three sisters, Gwendolyn Upton, Donna Traw, and Linda Gee; niece, Chrissy Guilbeaux; nephew, Randy Traw.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Lovell; daughter, Jamie Harris and Dearl Laymon; grandchildren, Jaxon Harris, Jayven Harris; neices, Jennifer Bohannon, and Kelsey Gee; nephews, Ricky Griffin and wife Jennifer, Trey Upton, Kevin Gee and wife Barbara; numerous great nieces, and nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Neal, Kenneth Shipley, Bimbo Hale, Damon Plummer, Cubby Lemmons, and Rod Derryberry.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 6-8pm.
