Funeral Service for Margarett "Kathy" Wilson, 79 of Poteau, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Southside Baptist in Poteau, Oklahoma with Jim Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe Cemetery in Monroe, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.

Kathy was born on February 18, 1944 in Poteau, Oklaoma to Pearl Mae (Webb) Humphries and Owen Odis Humphries and passed away on June 4, 2023 in Poteau, Oklahoma. She was married to F.L. Wilson on June 23, 1962 in Monroe, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Austin Humphries. She retired from Oklahoma Department of Corrections after 21 years. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to cook, play dominos, cards, and do crossword puzzles. Kathy was a long time member of Southside Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, F.L. Wilson; two sons, Paul D. Wilson, Timothy B. Wilson and wife Kim Wilson; grandchildren, Brice and Kara Wilson, Blake and Anna Wilson, Grant and Mikeisha Wilson, Gabba and Michael Terry; 5 great grandchildren, Kase Wilson, Kallen Wilson, Hayden Wilson, Ellie Wilson, Kingston Wilson; brother Dewey Humphries; special family, Sam and Delaun Abbott, and Briley Abbott; special friends, Pat Dill and Linda Smith; and a host of loved ones. Thanks to Oaks and Cura Hospice for their wonderful care.

Pallbearers will be Brice Wilson, Blake Wilson, Grant Wilson, Rick Wilson, Skip Baxter, and Weylin Groom.

Visitation will be Friday, June 9, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau, Oklahoma.
