Mark was a true jack of all trades. He had a deep love for antique Volkswagens and was an exceptionally skilled woodworker, especially when it came to crafting furniture. He dedicated 41 years of his career as a conductor for KCS. Beyond his work, Mark opened his heart and home to many displaced youth over the years—and he continued supporting others up to the present.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Pam of 46 years, his children, Gayla Eidschun of Poteau, Oklahoma, Mark Eidschun and wife Whitney of Claremore, Oklahoma and Emma Eidschun of the home; his brother, Bill Eidschun and wife Key of Howe, Oklahoma, his niece, Jill Billings husband Chris of Poteau, Oklahoma; two grandchildren London and Rainey along with numerous other relatives, loved ones and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Mark Eidschun will be held at 2pm – 4pm, Saturday, April 18, 2026, at The Cedars on Dewey 520 Dewey Ave Poteau, Oklahoma 74953.
