Funeral Service for Martha Sue Yeager, 86 of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Grace Memorial Chapel in Poteau, OK with Reverend Clyde Hess officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Grace Funeral Service of Poteau, Oklahoma.Martha was born on August 10, 1937 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Susie (Pettit) Kilgore and Horace J Kilgore and passed away on December 17, 2023 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was married to William “Bill” Yeager on July 30, 1952 in Hale Center, TX. Together they raised 5 children. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent many years in the ministry teaching the word and working to bring people to Christ..Martha was preceded in death by her Parents; Mother and father in law Paul and Fannie Yeager; Son in law Cecil James; 6 brothers and 1 sister.Survivors include her husband Bill Yeager; Daughters Debra Yakel and husband Steve, and Karen James; Sons Robert Yeager and wife Cathy, David Yeager and wife Alice, Randy Yeager and wife Belinda; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; Sister Mary Donahou; Brother John Kilgore; Many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.Pallbearers will be Robert Yeager, Randy Yeager, David Yeager, Matthew Yakel, Daniel Yakel and Michael YeagerThe family would like to send a special thanks for the excellent and loving care Martha received from Shanoan Springs Nursing Home and Choice Hospice..You may leave an online message at www.gracemanorfh.com.
